📚 How to Create a Google API Key and Search Engine ID (CX)

Step 1 - Create a Project on Google Cloud

Go to the Google Cloud Console and sign in with your Google Account.
Click on "Create Project" and give it a name (example: SuperAgent Internet Search).

Step 2 - Enable the Custom Search JSON API

Inside your project dashboard, navigate to:
API & Services → Library
Search for "Custom Search API" and click "Enable".

Step 3 - Generate your API Key

Go to:
API & Services → Credentials → Create Credentials → API Key
Copy the generated key. You will enter this key in the app under: API Key (ex: Google) inside the Settings tab.

Step 4 - Create your Search Engine ID (CX)

Visit: Google Programmable Search Engine (formerly Google CSE).
Click "Add" to create a new search engine.
Enter any sample site as the domain (e.g.: https://olhovivo.app.br).
After creation, go to "Control Panel" and copy your Search Engine ID (CX) (something like abcd1234:xyz).
Enter this ID in the app field: Search Engine ID.

Step 5 - Usage Limits (Important)

The Google free plan allows up to 100 searches per day for free.
After that, Google may charge for usage. Monitor your usage in the Google Cloud account.

Step 6 - Done!

After filling out the fields in the app’s Settings tab, your AI can now search the internet!
